Puppy Questionnaire

Thank you for your interest in our Finnish Lapphunds. All of our puppies are raised in our home and are socialized and part of our family.

We are members of the Finnish Lapphund Club of America and adhere to the Finnish Lapphund Club of America’s Code of Ethics. All breeding stock are tested for hips, elbows and patellas. Eyes are PRA tested via Optigen blood test, except dogs that are obligate clear from parentage. 

*****All information you submit will be kept strictly confidential, and will be used as a screening tool only to properly place our puppies.

THIS QUESTIONNAIRE IS NOT AN AGREEMENT TO SELL YOU A DOG. THESE QUESTIONS WILL HELP US DETERMINE IF YOU MAY BE A QUALIFIED APPLICANT FOR ONE OF OUR PUPPIES. BY SENDING THIS QUESTIONNAIRE TO YOU, WE DO NOT MAKE ANY PROMISES THAT WE WILL OFFER TO SELL YOU A PUPPY. WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO REFUSE THE SALE OF A PUPPY.

All Kalbarri puppies are sold on contracts. Pet/companion pups will be sold on a limited registration and not permitted to be used for breeding purposes. Prospective show quality pups/adults are sold on co-owner contracts for a specified time period which will be stipulated in the contract.

Please note:

If we determine that you are a suitable home for one of our Finnish Lapphunds, we will require a deposit of $200 from you, to reserve a Lappy.

If we have a Lappy that meets your criteria and you decide not to take the puppy, your deposit is forfeit. IF we decide not to sell you a puppy that meets your criteria, or we do not have a puppy for you, your deposit will be returned.

SUBMITTING A DEPOSIT, OR OUR REQUEST FOR AND ACCEPTANCE OF YOUR DEPOSIT, IS NOT AN AGREEMENT OR GUARANTEE TO SELL YOU A DOG. IF IN OUR CORRESPONDENCE OR UPON PERSONAL MEETING, WE FIND THAT WE ARE NOT ABLE TO DO SO, OR IF WE FIND THAT WE ARE NOT COMFORTABLE WITH SELLING YOU A DOG, WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO REFUND YOUR DEPOSIT. WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO MAKE DECISIONS ABOUT WHERE WE PLACE OUR PUPPIES AND TO REVERSE A DECISION IF INFORMATION BECOMES AVAILABLE THAT WE FEEL MAKES A HOME UNSUITABLE FOR ONE OF OUR DOGS.
